We have received guidance from Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) that as of 14th November 2022, facemasks will be reintroduced for all visitors, patients and staff when attending/working in a health care setting (unless exempt). This is due to an increase in winter respiratory infections over recent weeks. 

Both staff and visitors are asked to use type 2 fluid resistant masks, not face-coverings. 

You will need to wear a facemask when attending the following: 

• Ysbyty Gwynedd
• Ysbyty Glan Clwyd
• Wrexham Maelor Hospital
• GP Practices and other Primary Care Settings
• Health Centres
• All community hospitals across North Wales, including outpatient appointments
